PhD in Physics (Cum Laude) from the University of Barcelona. He was the first European scientist to start working with numerical models of simulation of the atmosphere in Europe. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of research and teaching in the Department of Meteorology of the Faculty of Physics of the University of Barcelona, where he has made more than 60 publications and trained a large number of meteorologists.

RAÚL ARASA AGUDO
METEOSIM PROJECT DIRECTOR

PhD in Physics (Cum Laude) from the University of Barcelona, Master in Meteorology and Master in Project Management with 11 years of experience developing projects related to the atmospheric environment using numerical modeling techniques. He has implemented more than thirty operational forecasting systems for meteorological and air quality applications and executed air quality and meteorological models in 4 continents. He has carried out twenty scientific publications and more than one hundred air quality projects for the public administration, multilateral organizations and private companies.

AIR QUALITY PROJECT MANAGER

PhD in Physics (Cum Laude) from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Master in Meteorology and Geophysics, with more than 8 years of experience working on multiple air quality modeling projects, executing air quality models, processing the outputs and analyzing the data and graphics.
